Moss in lawns eliminated without raking using organic fertiliser – and no black mess to clear up!

MO Bacter is an organic slow-release granular fertiliser from Viano of Belgium, which eradicates moss, feeds grass for three months and improves the soil.
Moss dies as a result of excess potassium but leaves no black debris. The dead moss is then digested by the bacteria in MO Bacter (npk: 5-5-20). The product does not stain stonework, patios or paths.
The Commonwealth War Graves Commission has seen remarkable results in which two inches of moss at one cemetery in Oxfordshire was virtually eliminated in six months, with no need for scarifying to remove debris. And headstones were completely unmarked.
Welsh gardener Pauline Jones says she saw the review of MO Bacter on Beechgrove Garden forwarded to her by a friend in Scotland.
“I wish to thank the TV producers for the programme in June last year where Jim updated results on the use of MO Bacter, which I then purchased and had excellent results with.
“My lawn has never looked so good. It has been laid to turf in various phases during more than 20 years and therefore was quite a ‘patchwork’ – but at present looks quite ‘uniform’.
“I shall no longer have to use other products , either chemical or organic, which have never lived up to the ‘does what it says on the can’ mantra.”
Renowned Wimbledon lawn tennis head groundsman Eddie Seaward tested MO Bacter and said he found it to be “very effective and very efficient.”
The product is harmless to animals and wildlife and will not damage border plants.
